Corrieshalloch Gorge and waterfall is a sight to be seen. There is a suspension bridge that straddles the 100-foot gorge giving you a birds-eye view of the 45-foot waterfall that is directly below. This place NEEDS to be on your NC500 bucket list! It is free to park overnight in the designated car park for Corrieshalloch Gorge. This parking spot is great as it optimises your chances of having this magnificent sight all to yourself!
Unfortunately, as this spot at the Corrieshalloch Gorge is essentially just a car park, it doesn’t have any of the facilities you may want if you are staying overnight (e.g. a toilet). It also can be quite busy in the morning as other tourists start to arrive. When we parked there, the car park was almost full by 9:30 am the next morning.
The spot does have many positive attributes – none more so than the easy access to the gorge and waterfall! It is also extremely level (no need for leveling blocks) and is very peaceful overnight.
Note: we parked at the actual car park for the gorge, however, there is a viewpoint that also has parking less than a mile away. This viewpoint lay-by will undoubtedly have better views, so depending on what you are looking for, this may be a better option for you!

Hi
My name is Martin Hughes and I am the operations manager for Inverewe Garden and Corrieshalloch Gorge. Would really appreciate it if you could mention this wonderful site is not free to park overnight. Cost is £2. The NTS is a charity and all income helps look after places like Corrieshalloch. Thank you
