Toledo is a truly fascinating city. Best yet is that it is reasonably well catered for van lifers looking to park up overnight near the ancient walled city of Toledo.
There is an extremely level car park located on the outskirts of the city with walking paths straight into the city center via the San Martín bridge. It is a 5-minute walk (most of it uphill) to the city center from this spot to park overnight in Toledo. There are bins, however, there are no other facilities and therefore best enjoyed in a completely self-contained campervan.
We stayed here for 3 nights without a problem. However, on Park4Night there were a couple of reviews stating it was extremely busy during work hours. We found it to be moderately busy, but there was plenty of remaining spaces in late January.
