Where to park overnight in Banff

There is an abundance of places where you can park overnight in Banff – most of which are free! If you follow to coastline there are several suitable locations. The overnight parking spot in Banff that we chose to call home is essentially a car park. However, it boasts spectacular panoramic views of the North Sea.

The waves crash onto the rugged coastline that surrounds three sides of this car park and provide the perfect white noise to fall asleep to… if anything it’s a bit too loud! However, if the weather is stormy and the waves are big they may break over the sea wall and onto your van! At one point we even got out of the van to make sure they weren’t!
