Top 5 things to do and see in Oviedo

Where to park overnight in Oviedo

Oviedo has a plethora of different spots to park overnight in. We opted to stay in a centrally located car park. It is situated just outside the inner ring road. To reach the centre it is a 20-minute walk. There is also plenty of things to do to pass an afternoon a stone’s throw away from where you can park overnight in Oviedo. There are several scenic walking paths leading to a nearby park which also following a small stream. There is even a kid’s play park, outdoor exercise machines, and even a skate park all within a 5-minute walk from the car park.

This spot is just a simple tarmacked car park, it has no services or facilities. It has a couple of waste bins nearby. It is extremely flat, making it a comfortable night’s sleep. There is no shade here so it may be a bit uncomfortable in the height of the summer sun.

This place to park overnight in Oviedo is reasonably large with approximately 50 spaces available. Several of which are large enough to park a larger vehicle (hanging over the back of the space). Although this spot can cater to slightly larger vehicles, we wouldn’t necessarily recommend parking here in a large vehicle (over 8m) as it is quite a steep and tight access road to the carpark.

Finally, there is a Carrefour Express within a 5-minute walk from this parking spot. Perfect for picking up essentials.
